Water heating with HGL TECHNIK
In modern houses, good thermal insulation decreases the energy requirements for heating purposes.
Even the energy used for the supply of hot water decreases by 30 - 40%. Consequently, it is important to define the heat pump settings efficiently for the supply of hot water.

This is possible thanks to IDM's technology for the discharge of overheated gases. In the case of a heat pump, part of the energy gained (approximately 15% = heating gases) is available at a higher temperature. This part of the energy is yielded to an additional heat exchanger, so that the top level of IDM's (Hygienic) fresh water storage) is brought to a temperature of 60°C.
IDM's technology contributes to optimizing comfort as far as hot water is concerned, and this with a minimum energy supplement.
If the heat pump works at low temperatures (for example 35°C) in the wintertime to heat the spaces, the top level of the storage for the hot water requirement can be brought to 60°C (about 15% of the performance) through the heat of the discharge gases of the heating.
Advantages of the HGL TECHNIK technology
. High accumulator temperature with low compressor pressure
. Low electricity consumption
. The compressor lasts longer
. First the water is heated for the heating
. Safety cycle
. No danger of calcification
. Hot water is immediately available thanks to an optimal layering in the accumulator.
IDM's innovative technology is patented.
