Suntek was founded in September of 1992, and started its activity by marketing the first Solar Systems and the first Renewable Energy Systems in Italy's northern Alto-Adige territory. The first systems were installed also thanks to the assistance of local professionals, who made it possible for our company to happily begin its pioneering phase.

In 1998, the constant search for high-quality Renewable Energy Systems led Suntek to meet up with Solvis (located in Braunschweig, Hannover), a German company that immediately proved to be capable of satisfying Suntek's quality expectations, and with which a profitable and serious cooperation was established right away, a cooperation that brought Suntek at the forefront in the Alto-Adige market.

In the meantime, Suntek was already operating at 360° in the field of Renewable Energies, dealing in the photovoltaic, wind power and geothermal sectors in addition to the thermal solar sector, always using products of increasingly high quality which the market was offering at that time. In 2000, Suntek met IDM, an Austrian company (located in Matrei i., Osttirol), on the cutting edge in the production of Heat Pumps, and started a partnership with this company for the marketing of this type of technology in the Alto-Adige region.

In 2000, Suntek cross the border of the Alto-Adige region and start gradually expanding on the national territory. Thanks to this journey, in February 2002, at the "Free University of Alcatraz" of Jacopo Fo, Suntek's directors, the directors of Solvis and some entrepreneurs from the Bergamo province, who were also interested in Renewable Sources, had a chance to get to know and appreciate each other, and soon afterwards a Suntek sales office was opened in the province of Bergamo. That is how the sales activity throughout Italy officially began.

Thanks to its constant growth, Suntek moved to Brunico in January of 2004, occupying a new 600- square meter facility that includes warehouses, offices, showroom and training room for the training of technical and sales personnel.

In 2005, the sales offices in the province of Bergamo also moved into a new 100-square meter facility in Madone (Bergamo), so that they could best support the Italian Sales Network, which in the meantime had become increasingly large and varied.

Today the company is centered in Cambiago in order to be closer to the increasing Italian market and in order to guarantee a best level of customer satisfaction.

Suntek is the Exclusive Importer and Distributor in Italy of Solvis and IDM brands, and its Sales Network covers the entire national territory. As of today, Suntek and its Sales Network have installed approximately 4,000 solar heating systems throughout the entire national territory, including the islands, for the production of domestic hot water and integration to heating systems, as well as more than 250 Pumps, both geothermal and ground water, with approximately 70,000 meters of geothermal probes installed.
